The biggest soccer event on the African continent is going to be
staged once again from January 20 to February 10, 2008. Officials of
the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), MTN, which is the major
sponsor and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) have promised to
make Ghana 2008 African Cup of Nations the best ever with the
inclusion of fun-packed activities and lots of musical events
The
tournament is expected to provide opportunities for tourism and
business transactions between Ghanaians and foreign investors
who would be in the country during the event.
